Answer to Question 1

Responsible pet ownership means providing for all the needs of a pet, including the following:
 making sure the animal has food and water
 licensing and paying required taxes
 obeying leash laws, fence laws, and other control laws
 not allowing the animal to roam the neighborhood
 seeing that the animal gets veterinary attention as needed
 having the animal receive regular vaccinations
 having the animal spayed or neutered to prevent unwanted pregnancies

Answer to Question 2

The following animals have been the object of fads or status: Shar-Pei, Afghan, Dalmatians, Chihuahuas,
Poodles, potbellied pigs, and cheetahs and other exotic cats.
