Answer to Question 1

B
The nurse's teaching plan should include the fact that if the client eats foods high in tyramine, he or she will experience a hypertensive crisis. During a hypertensive crisis, there is a dangerous rise in blood pressure. This may result in stroke or other cardiovascular catastrophe.

Answer to Question 2

B
The most important personal factor for postpartum depression is low level of social support. Giving birth requires a revision of the current role. A support system can assist the new mother in making the role transition required. The support system can also provide assistance with normal responsibilities and at times provide the new mother with a period of respite.
