Rogers's theory was based on her interest in quantum physics and focused on energy fields. She expanded the concept of energy fields from physics to conceptualize the interconnectedness of human interactions with each other and with the environment. Using Roger's model, nurses understand that one person who is an energy field influences other fields nearby. In short, the nurse's energy field will have an effect on the client's.
