Marcy, a charge nurse on the floor, calls to say that she forgot to chart the 1400 dose of chlorpromazine (Thorazine) for Mrs. Fritz. She asks, Please sign it for me. You saw me give it just before we counted the narcotics at the change of shift.
 
   The legal responsibility of the nurse is to:
