The nursing instructor knows to teach that some common reasons for suicide include:
 
  A) Punishment or exposure of socially or personally unacceptable behavior such as coughing without
  covering the mouth.
  B) An untenable family situation such as not being able to use the computer.
  C) A painful terminal illness and/or an untenable personal situation.
  D) An untenable personal situation such as going to the prom alone.
