Zolpidem is a short-acting hypnotic that will help the patient initiate sleep and awaken without untoward symptoms of drowsiness. Methylphenidate is a central nervous system stimulant. Flurazepam is a long-acting hypnotic that will produce hangover drowsiness during the next day. Risperidone is an antipsychotic and not likely to be useful in this scenario.
