Answer to Question 1

ANS: 1
Inhibited expression of grief can lead to depression; therefore option 1 is correct. Option 2 can-not be assumed. The nurse should not be made to feel responsible for teaching her father (option 3). Unexpressed feelings do not necessarily lead to suicidality, so option 4 is incorrect.

Answer to Question 2

ANS: 2
The only situation that presents as a long-term, chronic loss is option 2, having a child with schizophrenia. The other situations are resolving or at least hopeful for recovery.

Although the Roman numeral for the number 4 has always been taught to have been "IV," according to historians, the ancient Romans probably used "IIII" most of the time. This is partially backed up by the fact that early grandfather clocks displayed IIII for the number 4 instead of IV. Early clockmakers apparently thought that the IIII balanced out the VIII (used for the number 8) on the clock face and that it just looked better.
