Answer to Question 1

Ans: A
The low calorie intake associated with anorexia nervosa can often result in the pattern of malnutrition and wasting that is termed cachexia. Individuals with bulimia often have a healthy body weight and may even be slightly overweight. BED and NES do not result in body wasting due to the high calorie intake and the absence of purging.

Answer to Question 2

Ans: A
The risk of dehydration posed by the client's refusal to drink likely supersedes the risk of imbalanced nutrition in the short term. Both diagnoses are more immediate concerns than the client's interactions. There is no evidence of anxiety.
