Answer to Question 1

First-level headings should be sized significantly larger than the others. They might be written in all caps or small caps to distinguish them from text. Second-level headings should be significantly smaller than the first-level headings, and third-level headings should be smaller still. Headings can also be distinguished with different fonts or small caps, bold, italics, etc.

b. Use thumbnails to sketch out the design.
c. Design the document.
d. Revise and edit the design.
