c. Personal networking involves using personal contacts in order to search for a job. Job seekers might contact relatives or friends who work in a given field or industry, or they might drop them an e-mail mentioning that theyre in the market for a job.
d. Professional networking can involve using professional organizations to look for a job. Some include IEEE, AMA, and STC, among many others.
e. College placement offices post jobs and help students contact potential employers.
f. Targeting involves using general search engines in order to find a list of particular companies. After job seekers have assembled such a list, they can look at those companies websites and contact their human resources departments.
