Answer to Question 1

F

Answer to Question 2

Gene mapping involves finding the location on the strands of DNA, genes that control certain traits. This involves the use of molecules that act as probes. These probes attach themselves to certain parts of the DNA where the nucleotides join each other. The probe looks for combinations where substances join in certain sequences. Once these probes locate the nucleotides, the sequences of A (Adenine), T (Thymine), C (Cytosine), and G (Guanine) can be listed in a map.
