Bullfrogs are territorial. They claim a certain space and allow no other frogs in their space. Frogs will only eat food that is alive, so they cannot be fed processed feed. Their diet includes their own young, which can cause a problem when they are raised in captivity. Another problem is predators. Almost all predators that live next to water feed on frogs, including raccoons, fish, herons, snakes, ducks, and cranes.
