They may have a hidden agenda for wanting something and are reluctant to reveal it or admit to it.

Answer to Question 2

We are able to enjoy a fresher, tastier, more abundant food supply at a lower cost due to modern farming practices. In addition, we are able to enjoy healthier products such as leaner meat, as well as alternative food products, such as tofu, which can lower the risk of some health problems.
