Answer to Question 1

The following safety rules for painting are recommended: mix paints and solvents in well-ventilated
areas; spray paint outdoors or in special booths; never smoke or have any source of fire in the vicinity;
wear a respirator or paint mask when painting; use ladders that are in good condition; and to avoid
electrocution, be especially careful to keep aluminum ladders away from all electrical wires.

Answer to Question 2

A good rule to follow when cleaning up a paint gun is that you should not be able to tell the color of
the paint used previously when examining the gun.
