An approved face shield should be worn when any of the following activities are involved: when hot
molten metal or solder is being prepared; when milling, turning, sawing, shaping, grinding, sanding,
cutting, or stamping is being done; and when heat treating, tempering, or kiln firing is being done.



Answer to Question 2

Noise intensity is the energy in the sound waves. Noise duration is the length of time a person is
exposed to a sound.
