Answer to Question 1

Loggers fell trees either manually (chainsaw and ax) or by larger machines in such a way as to prevent damage to the
trees to be left. Once the trees are down, the loggers limb and buck the logs (remove the limbs and cut the trunk
into logs or bolts). They then skid (slide or drag) the logs to a loading site, and load them onto trucks for hauling

Answer to Question 2

Forestry technicians work with and assist professional foresters. They perform many of the same functions as foresters,
but typically do more of the physical work. They perform the work to develop, maintain, and protect the
forest and forested areas, and woodlands
