Answer to Question 1

Water pollution cannot be prevented. It occurs in nature all the time. We can control the amount and severity of
human-caused water pollution.

Answer to Question 2

A eutrophic lake will likely be very green or brown. It will probably be so full of algae or water vegetation that the
surface of the water is partially or even completely covered by live or dead vegetation
