Recreational natural resources should be conserved and protected for both (1) philosophical and (2) aesthetic reasons.
Humanity springs from nature. We do not live on the planet in isolation from nature. We must maintain a
degree of harmony with nature in order to continue to prosper in the future. Beyond that, and from a more selfish
perspective, nature is important for our peace of mind and relaxation
