When pesticides are used as the only source of control, they are harmful; however,
when used in moderation as part of a solid IPM program, they are beneficial.

The nitrogen cycle is the circulation of nitrogen in nature. If the nitrogen cycle is
disrupted, eutrophication problems readily occur.
