A client would like to use Spreading English yew as a groundcover for sunny area

Answers will vary, but might include different types of juniper.

Answer to Question 2

Pruning of groundcovers is only necessary to confine the planting to the area in which it
is desired. This is usually accomplished by mowing around the edges or otherwise
cutting back the outer perimeter (edge).
