Answer to Question 1

Answers will vary, but students may suggest using Sargent Jupiter because it does well
along the seashore and works well as a groundcover.

Answer to Question 2

The primary purpose of a lath house is to protect unplanted balled and burlapped
narrowleaf evergreens protection from the sun by reducing the light available to the
plant. This reduces the transpiration rate (water loss) of the plant.
