Food scientists improve methods of freezing, canning, storing, packaging, and
distributing food. They try to find ways to process food so that fewer nutrients are lost,
and they study the effects of food additives. They are also involved in research and
development of new products

Answer should include any three of the following: advise people on crop and livestock
production, conservation, home economics, child care, farm management, and nutrition
