Answer to Question 1

Answer should include any two of the following concerns: we cannot produce enough to
make a substantial difference; it is vulnerable to disease, pests, and climate; it takes as
much energy to make biofuel as it saves; and biofuel can be destructive to engines.



Answer to Question 2

Natural gas (methane gas) is formed by the transformation of plant and animal waste
into fossil fuel.
