Advantages: High nutrient-holding capacity and high water-holding capacity Disadvantages: poor drainage, less capacity to hold air, subject to compaction when wet, slow water penetration, expanding and contracting when wet and dry, can crack open when dry, hard and forming clods when dry

High, because the pore spaces are small and fill completely with water.
