Answer to Question 1

It helps assure worker safely by making it a law that all employers keep track of and report work-related deaths, injuries, and illnesses. It also requires investigation of employee

complaints related to pesticide use, accidental poisoning, or re-entry into a pesticide-treated

area before it is permissible to do so.

Answer to Question 2

It regulates the maximum environmental concentration of pesticides that might affect endangered species. The agency can restrict the use of pesticides that could jeopardize endangered species. If the horticultural crops are growing in a designated endangered species area, this might affect production practices and economics.
