Answer to Question 1

Use reduced 2- or 3-way component mixtures of suggested and unrelated fungicides listed in tables 4.4 and 4.5 . Much of the answer to question 2 is aimed at preventing disease tolerance or resistance problems.

Answer to Question 2

Reduce the shade and increase light penetration by pruning or selectively removing dense trees and shrubs. Space landscape plants properly. Grow improved shade-tolerant cultivars of Kentucky bluegrass. If the shade is too dense grow shade-tolerant fescues or perennial ryegrass.
