Answer to Question 1

C
Insensible heat loss occurs by the method of evaporation. Insensible water loss is continuous and occurs regardless of the body temperature. Evaporation is the continuous insensible water loss from the skin and lungs when water is converted from a liquid to a gas.

Answer to Question 2

B
Internal respiration is the interchange of oxygen and carbon dioxide between the circulating blood and cells throughout the body. External respiration is the exchange of oxygen and carbon dioxide between the alveoli of the lungs and the pulmonary blood system. Inspiration is the intake of air into the lungs. Expiration is the movement of gases from the lungs to the atmosphere.
