Answer to Question 1

B

Answer to Question 2

C
To develop a plan for working with patients in community health nursing, the first issue that a nurse must address is acceptance by the patients. Sometimes nurses may be perceived as threatening or as outsiders. Nurses may represent agencies that are not respected or trusted. Time and care may be needed to establish rapport with the patient group. Nurses can gain acceptance and establish rapport by participating in community activities and maintaining a nonthreatening presence over a period of time.
