The blood enters the right atrium and moves through the foramen ovale to the left atrium and then to the left ventricle. A small portion of this blood passes into the right ventricle.

Answer to Question 2

When adding additional dressings to a sterile field, grasp the top flaps, pull downward, and drop dressing in center of field. This prevents contamination of the sterile field.
