Answer to Question 1

B
Feedback:
Tunneling helps to stabilize the catheter and reduces the potential for infection. However, an implanted catheter, not a tunneled catheter, provides maximum protection against infection and can be held in place for several years. Tunneled catheters are not normally used for short-term therapy.

Answer to Question 2

A
A normal urinalysis finding includes pH range of 4.6 to 8.0, negative protein, negative glucose, and specific gravity of 1.015 to 1.030.
