Answer to Question 1

A
Do not administer medications that are illegible or incomplete. Although consulting with pharmacist and nursing staff may be helpful, the physician or health care provider needs to verify the order. Withholding a medication may retard the patient's recovery.

Answer to Question 2

B
Open drapes and close door if indicated. Control extraneous noise in and around room such as television volume and visitors. Turn off bedside equipment not in use.
