Answer to Question 1

A
A good rule of thumb for fluid restrictions is to allow half of the allotted total oral fluids between 7 AM and 3 PM when patients are more active and two meals are served. An additional two fifths of the allotted total fluid is then permitted between 3 PM and 11 PM with evening meal and visitors. Between 11 PM and 7 PM the remainder of the fluids is permitted.

Answer to Question 2

A
The overall goals of Healthy People 2010 are to increase the life expectancy and quality of life and to eliminate health disparities through an improved delivery of health care services to people in the United States.
