The CDC is the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and provides information to address exposure to infectious diseases. QSEN, or the Quality and Safety Education for Nurses, was funded by the RWJ to focus on preparing nurses of the future with the knowledge, skills, and attitudes to advance quality and safety on the job. NIOSH, or the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health, is a federal agency within the CDC that was established to conduct research and recommend interventions for the prevention of work-related injury and illness.
