Succinimides, such as ethosuximide, interact with hydantoins, such as phenytoin, to increase se-rum hydantoin levels.

Answer to Question 2

ANS: A
Patients under 23 years of age and those taking phenytoin in dosages exceeding 500 mg/day are at increased risk for gingival hyperplasia.
