Answer to Question 1

ANS: D
Anaphylactoid reactions are acute, life-threatening events mediated through IgE antibodies. An-aphylaxis can occur with all routes of administration but is seen most often following use of par-enteral formulations.

Answer to Question 2

ANS: C
Although allergies can occur with any route of administration, topical routes present the greatest risk for allergic reactions; the oral route is the least likely to result in sensitization.
