Renal function tests and uric acid levels are not indicated. Unless the pain cannot be managed with NSAIDs, there is no need to reduce the dose of pyrazinamide.

Rifampin induces cytochrome P450 enzymes and can accelerate the metabolism of many drugs, including oral contraceptive pills (OCPs).
