How will the nurse properly administer an oral capsule?
 
  1. Tell the patient to swallow it whole.
  2. Pierce it with a needle and squeeze into the mouth.
  3. Crush and dilute it in warm water.
  4. Tell the patient to chew it completely.

Question 2

A patient lives on the streets with no known address. He has been scheduled for a return visit to complete his immunization record. How should the nurse handle this patient's injections, since she knows that the patient might not return?
 
  1. Give the most important injection first.
