A patient comes into the ED with status epilepticus in progress. You expect the physician to order which drug for this condition?

Diazepam (Valium) is used intravenously to control seizures and is the drug of choice for status epilepticus.

Narcotics are stored in special cabinets. A nurse records all controlled-substance medication during the shift. The inventory report form is completed before the drug is removed from the cabinet.
