D. Do not interrupt TPN infusionmaintains continuous infusion of nutrients, prevents hypoglycemic reaction.
A. Fever could be caused by systemic infection.
B. Chest pain could be caused by air embolism.
C. Erythema and induration could be caused by localized infection at exit site or tunnel.

C
If the patient becomes hypoxic, discontinue the procedure until stable and provide oxygen therapy as needed, if ordered. Suctioning can decrease usable oxygen to the patient.
