Garlic reduces platelet aggregation and should be used with caution in patients receiving platelet inhibitors, anticoagulants, and herbal medicines (e.g., ginkgo, ginger, feverfew, ginseng). Black cohosh is used to reduce symptoms of premenstrual syndrome, dysmenorrhea, and menopause.
