THEY CAN BE VERY DIFFERENT FROM PERSON TO PERSON; THEY CAN BE LESS SCIENTIFICALLY SOUND' THAN THE RELATIVE FREQUENCY APPROACH.

1) THEY MUST FALL BETWEEN 0 AND 1 (OR BETWEEN 0 AND 100); 2) THEY MUST BE COHERENT  THAT IS, YOUR PERSONAL PROBABILITIES OF TWO EVENTS CAN'T CONTRADICT EACH OTHER.
