 Couples compete in a new pastime called Song and Dance for prizes that are given for their costumes and dancing skill.
 Skip Dance and Two-step songs from the Nd' repertory accompany Song and Dance.
 Some traditionalists have complained about the use of sacred Nd' songs in secular (non-sacred, recreational) contexts.
