Answer to Question 1

First heat exchangers were barrel shaped, then sectionalized were like flattened barrels or clamshells, serpentine was further flattened with serpentine path added, tubular is made from tubing shaped in serpentine shape, stainless steel recuperative added to condense water.

Do not install a unit were the operating noise will be objectionable to the customer or their neighbors; avoid locating the unit in direct sunlight; do not locate where water, snow, or ice from the roof or eaves can fall directly on to the unit or where the roof overhang can cause recirculation of the air exhausted from the unit; do not locate under decks or porches.
