What is the most common range for minimum velocities in a horizontal line carrying refrigerant vapor?

Answer to Question 1

Although the minimum velocity varies by refrigerant, pipe size, and temperature, generally accepted minimum velocities in horizontal sections of refrigerant piping are 500  750 feet per minute.

Answer to Question 2

This condensate falls into a condensate pan below the coil and is removed by gravity flow to an open sanitary drain.
