Answer to Question 1

If possible, operate the system before beginning refrigerant recovery. Use the large diameter, short length hoses
Recover liquid first.
Begin recovery at the lowest available access point.
Heat the system from which refrigerant is being recovered. Cool the cylinder the refrigerant is going into.
Recover from both sides of the system during vapor recovery.

Answer to Question 2

Faster refrigerant recovery. The system refrigerant does not drop in pressure and temperature as quickly.
