Answer to Question 1

A scaffold is any one of a variety of types of temporary elevated platforms and their corresponding structure (supports, means of suspension, planking, etc.) used for supporting workers and materials at a distance above the ground. Scaffolding is a field within construction with a language of its own.

Answer to Question 2

Batteries should be charged in segregated areas designated just for battery charging. During the charging process, vent caps should be maintained in functioning condition to prevent electrolyte spray.
