Answer to Question 1

A single axis alt-azimuth tracker will have the horizontal-axis fixed to approximately the latitude measured from the horizontal and the vertical axis rotates at a rate of 1 rev/day (during the time the sun is up). A dual-axis tracker will have the horizontal axis adjust slightly each day to compensate for the sun's north-south motion and the vertical axis rotates at a rate of 1 rev/day (during the time the sun is up).

Answer to Question 2

A land breeze is created when the land cools more quickly than the water, which tends to occur in the fall and winter.
