By how many Newtons does the weight of a 100. kg person change when he goes from sea level to an altitude of 5.00 km?
 
  What will be an ideal response?

  (a) What is the outside pressure at that depth?
  (b) Find the total force that must be withstood by a square hatch (0.90 m square) which leads to the sub interior.
