A paramagnetic material has no magnetic field unless an external magnetic field is applied to it. In this case, it develops a magnetization is the direction of the external field.

Answer to Question 2

A ferromagnetic material produces a magnetic field even in the absence of an external magnetic field. Permanet magnets are constructed of ferromagnetic materials.
