 Realize that we cannot isolate significant variables, such as race, gender or disability. They are all related in a complex manner.
 This type of client will more than likely have to overcome double and triple minority status in their job searches, which reduces their chances of obtaining employment.
 There may be very few role models available.
 Advocacy by the counselor is recommended.
